Arsene pens it down

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has agreed a three-year contract extension worth about 4million a year to remain at the club, according to reports. The deal, which will keep Wenger at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2011, was formally announced last Friday.

Woohoooo..!! This is by far, the happiest news for me since the day henry left the club..

It is not so long ago that we as gooners were left with dark clouds hovering the club's future. And it seems tho like no sunshine wheather could ever be forecasted again (tapi kat malaysia, dia terbalik-kot skit sebab siang selalu panas sangat kan, kalau boleh nak cuaca mendung suam2 kuku la plak). We were hit by many uncertainty issues coming from the unsettled boardmembers, from the boss, from the players (stink-mouthed gallas in particular).

Bad news and more bad news kept strolling in, as if we were destinied to be doomed from that point onwards. We were eager, or even desperate, to see new players coming in.. eventho we knew that finding an instant henry's replacement is like fishing in a bath-tub where the best catch we can get will only be the yellow rubber duckling (mcm tak masuk akal je perumpamaan aku ni, huhuhu... tapi lantak lah). While at the same time, we were afraid to loose the guys too.. fabregas was linked away.. flamini was set leave.. gila sakit jiwa betul keadaan masa ni..

But then again, we tend to forget that all the issues were over-hyped by the media.. And pundits being pundits, all they could do is just predict whether we will fall or still prevail. Behind the closet, the boardmembers and AW seems to have made plans to sort every issues out. Its just that they didn't feel like sharing their plans with the fans, just yet..

Its a good thing that ku sangkakan panas berpanjangan, rupanya hujan di tengah hari..

(in this case, panas being somewhat a negative thing, & we look forward for hujan)

Watching the team having an excellent league start, watching our so called young squad turning into world class players, watching inexpensive new players with great prospects and excellent track record coming in.. what more can u ask..?? And AW signed a 3-year contract deal was the icing of the cake.. Splendidddddd.....!!!!
