Battle of the season.. War of the century.. Peperangan maut alaf baru.. Ultraman vs. raksasa Gorgom.. napolean vs wellington.. david vs. goliath.. Tupac vs Notorious BIG.. Itchy vs Scratchy.. Samy vellu vs M.Kayveas... call what u want coz it is THE match that we have all been waiting for.
To be frank, we control the game with our posessions & have lots of opportunities to score, but somehow we have no convincing end product..(but still, i dont mind scrappy goals tho as long as its a goal). During the first half, we exhibit only a minor attacking prowess. Adebayor seems to relinquish his role as a sole striker coz he's always out of position. he seems to fall behind both winger once attacking took place. with no ade in the penalty box, then who should we pass a cross or a long ball to, rite ? at this point, i really really really miss RVP very much.
manure got only a decent few opportunities, but they utilize them very well.. (damn).
i think a striker partner for adebayor could provide ample opportunity for us to put 'the kill' to manure.
i think clichy had a good game. he did have his fair share for both goals build-up (the cross, etc.) and ronaldo was very quite in the 1st half coz he got his balls held by clichy.
i think the 1st manure goal shouldnt be allowed coz clearly brown did knocked hleb down. its a foul & should be a free kick instead.
i think anderson should be penalized for flashing the imaginary card to the reff. he tried to influence the reff to give fabregas a yellow.
i think ferguson's a sucky sour grape for labelling the reff to be biased towards our team. this time, i think his pathetic words comin out from his foul mouth has gone too far & he should be punished by the FA.
i still think we can wallop them at old trafford for our next meeting, just like last year. RVP will also be available then.
but all n all, for this game, i think a draw suits both team the most.
watched the game at nz bawah again with the guys n a couple of young gooner lads we just met during last week game. i can say, the crowd comprises of arsenal supporters (about 30%), man u supporters (about 30% too) and the rest are liverpools & chelsea supporters who were clearly rooting for man u to put a dent on our unbeatable record start.. so i can say that the cheer battle were between gooners (30%) vs. manure extended(70%), huhu... but still, gooners celebration are the wildest especially when gallas scored the equalizer, hahahaha.
after our match ended, we decided to continue watching chelski n pools game. the first half of chelski game was so damn boring (despite goals from lampard & belletti). i dunno how we could survive watching the rest of the game. simple solution: me, amri & zafuan shift our venue from nz to planet hollywoood. muahahahaha... its all worth it coz liverpool game was boring too, so we change our attention to NRG for some live music (they rock the house with muse: time is running out).
