Au Revoir, Titi

Its a dark n emotional time for all of us gooners, seeing various opinions on the Henry's move. Some thank him for his contributions, some blast him for the way he exit himself, n some to certain extent even labelled him a traitor for his double tongue declaration of loyalty towards the club (just only a year ago.. tak lama pun..) Observe the quotes below:

Yeah mate. Totally bullfuckincrapshit...

Nevertheless, I think we should bring a little balance to it all, remind us that we're all Arsenal at heart. Thierry Henry is going and we have to get used to the fact. That's it.

Personally, im sad about the whole bit. Feeling betrayed at times. Biasalah kan.. kalau dah frust.Rasa mcm putus cinta. Really.

But somehow, looking back to all that he had achieved.. how Arsenal developed into one of the European elites.. how he made the highbury (back then) crowd wild after scoring lots n lots of phenomenal goals.. how he majestically glide thru 4 to 5 defenders before slotting the ball pass the keeper.. how his goals contribute to "The Invincible" era with 49 games of unbeaten run and thus, earning the double... how he became the club's top goal scorer of all times... I had to forgive him.

but a few things yg aku tak puas hati:

1. Why only 16 Mil?? man u bought michael carrick at 18Mil, (owen hargreaves pun at 18Mil) even darren bent's price tag is at 17Mil! a world class player like Titi was only sold at 16Mil?? c'monnn... thats hogwash !! he's worth far more eventho he's reaching 30 of age !! another 6 Mil addition to that would greatly help the club financially rite now (260Mil Ashburton Grove debt still unsettled).. but it is not clearly stated yet if there's a clause behind the 16Mil, so there's still hope..
   
   
2. Whats with the lame excuse !?? the departure of david dein & wenger's uncertain future sebagai alasan !?? c'monnn Titi... please lah.. u can do better. 3. Why does it take so long for the board of directors to voice out their stands and gave assurance to the supporters that Arsenal will be ok !??!? Henry just left !! Wenger's future is in doubt !! hellooooo... !! mayday !! mayday !! critical time la ni dowhhh... !! the Board of Directors should step out quick to clarify n cool things down fast. Not only to the supporters, but most important to the remaining young guns as well as their future now will be uncertain too.. (do remember that cesc fabregas once said that playing alongside henry was one of the reasons he wanted to join our team)
   
   

BUT like ive mentioned earlier.. walau mcm mana pun, we can not deny Thierry Henry's contribution to the club. Even though some people including me might be annoyed at him for leaving and at the reasons why he’s leaving, the man IS our greatest ever goalscorer and has provided us with some incredible football in his eight seasons at the club. (rite now bila dah cecah 30, speed pun dah tak dpt maintain selaju dulu untuk 90 mins.. injury prone plak tu. so, barca can have him i guess).

Dear Titi, thank u for EVERYTHING. Its a big loss not only to Arsenal, but to the English Premiership as well. U will be missed. Let us now bukak buku baru. bring on anelka, or teves, or huntelaar, or babel, or chinedu ogbuke... or even nazreen.. (but say no to khalid jamlus & shukor adan).

n yeah.. please dont sign another 14 year old wonderkid from africa or wherever. as at current times, a more experienced player is what we need the most...
